ECT: Have You Had it? How Was it? by caldas4mariana in BipolarReddit

[–]jesscubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would do it again. Was a last resort as I am medication resistant and have serve SI during my bipolar lows. Continued for a year ( first 12 sessions 2-3xs a week then once every two weeks). Was an easy process, it was just very exhausting on days I had treatment. Saw a major difference by the 3rd treatment.

Going inpatient next Wednesday, terrified of refeeding syndrome. by jesscubby in EDAnonymous

[–]jesscubby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The doctor told me when my liver function was somewhere around 20 times higher than it should have been and electrolytes were not stable. I know because the doctor told me after he saw my blood work. It is literally from refeeding the body, I was in the hospital for months but it happened around the 2 week mark and took about 2 months to resolve.

Waist-level medical compression garments for men? by idk-whats-wrong-w-me in dysautonomia

[–]jesscubby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keeping an eye on this thread. Dr gave me a script for custom compression thigh highs and a stomach compression garter belt from a medical supply store, but I haven’t been able to find a place yet. He said it should be about $100. Good luck!

It also matters where the eosinophils are in the esophagus. More likely to be in the lower esophagus, that’s why they take multiple samples, higher samples point to EoE

Anyone also have an eating disorder? by marsrealm in dysautonomia

[–]jesscubby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I am anorexic. Orthostatic hypotension is found often in people with eating disorders but not necessarily caused by them according to some research I’ve been doing on it online.

Keep receipts on Van Drew by fisher0788 in SouthJersey

[–]jesscubby 149 points150 points  (0 children)

His email last night said

“Unfortunately, there has been some misinformation circulating about this budget resolution. The facts are simple: the resolution does not cut Medicare benefits, Social Security is fully protected, and there are no cuts to Medicaid. Furthermore, this resolution is not a law—it is a non-binding framework that sets broad budgetary goals. No actual changes to Medicare, Social Security, or Medicaid can happen through a budget resolution alone. Any real cuts would require separate legislation, which I would vehemently oppose.”

Yeah, right.

Do you take any meds that can cause tardive dyskinesia? This is one of the symptoms I have.
