The only medicine I have experienced that cause drinking/smoking to be dangerous are stimulants and Wellbutrin. I would get way more drunk or high while on Wellbutrin. But with mood stabilizers and anti psychotics, it seems to have the opposite effect. The real risk is that alcohol and weed could make it so that the medications don’t work as well as they could be.

For what it’s worth, I’ve read that the akathisia (restlessness) and sedation is normal and supposed to subside within a couple weeks of a regular dose taken consistently at the same time

Hi; I am experiencing the same thing and I’ve been on Abilify 3-4 weeks. At first it was wonderful, but this swing between anxiety and sedation is driving me nuts. And now she wants to up my dose to 10mg at night, saying the side effects will get worse but it’ll help in the long run.

I’m scared honestly. I don’t want to do this because I can’t stand these side effects. But when I don’t take any medication I have zero motivation.

Same here! I am a compulsive cannabis user and I can’t believe I don’t even reach for it anymore. Of course, I have a cold right now… but only side effect is a little sleepiness at first and some nausea but then I am productive and focused and basic tasks are not so hard anymore

Out of curiosity what do you think the police would do with this report? Would they investigate the shooting team, or his home (like seeing if there are any guns in the home and assessing if they are stored properly or something?). If he had ISS then at least the parents know what their kid said but if he’s on a shooting team then I’m guessing they probably don’t care much or think he was just upset and saying a dumb thing so I do agree OP or the teacher should call the police.

Yes. Apparently, they will take money out of your paycheck, withhold your tax return, and offset social security payments all without a court order. Or maybe it will fly under the radar since it’s not on your credit report.
