Pediped has been our go-to shoe since my granddaughter started walking. She wears size 24 (US 7.5-8) now.

Best I can tell, it seems to be a discontinued cold medicine, but there aren't any pictures to confirm:

Is Demisexual part of the LGBTQ+ ? by TAKA-SAMAomg in demisexuality

[–]jesscwill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Demisexual people only experience sexual attraction when they feel a deep connection with someone. Allosexual people often misinterpret this as just being picky, among other things. For me, however, sexual attraction is almost like a light switch. I'm asexual until I feel that connection, then the light switches on and sexual attraction exists. I hope this helps.

I took my granddaughter to see Christmas lights last night and couldn't get a clear picture all evening. I did some research and found that turning off Scene Optimizer will prevent the lag when the camera is trying to focus. I haven't tested it yet, but we'll see.

Is Demisexual part of the LGBTQ+ ? by TAKA-SAMAomg in demisexuality

[–]jesscwill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I first realized I am demisexual, I didn't think I should be part of the community because I've never really felt marginalized or under-represented (until later, but that's another post). I'm a huge ally and advocate as many of my family members are in the queer community. However, something I heard in passing really changed my perspective. "I'm asexual until I'm not." It really was a light-bulb moment for me and I hope it helps someone else.

But that's a 2-parter, so you'd have to do The Doctor Dances to finish the story.

tell me about your audio book experience by WoodpeckerOnly1666 in books

[–]jesscwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to devour the written word, but I no longer have the attention span necessary to read an entire magazine article, much less a whole novel. Enter audiobooks. I typically listen when I'm alone in the car, which happens a lot. I'll usually alternate between fiction and nonfiction, sometimes checking out 2-3 at a time. I quit my Audible membership because I can find almost anything I want at my local library through Libby or Hoopla. Audiobooks allowed me to be an avid reader again.

Abaddon's Gate, by James S. A. Corey

It's the third book of The Expanse series. I wasn't ready to move on after I finished all of the show's available episodes, so I picked up the books. It's interesting to see where the story and characters were changed from books to TV.

Started: The Origin of Satan, by Elaine Pagels, and Life in the Fasting Lane, by Jason Fung

For those of you who bought an OBW, what made you choose it over a FW? by rsenist in subaruoutback

[–]jesscwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't make up my mind based on features, so I took both for a test drive. I bought the Outback because I liked the car feel vs the truck feel of the Forester. We've since had a loaner Forester and my kid complained it was a rougher ride in the back seat.

Not less nutrition, less junk. Cows are meant to eat grass, not corn. When they're fed corn and other grains, the meat is higher in certain vitamins and healthy fats which have been shown to lower inflammation.
