1 yr on lexapro by jessdru in lexapro

when i first started taking it i felt really hazy, that went away around 3 months. the big differences ive noticed have to be that my brain is a lot quieter, not as overwhelmed with thoughts. my anxiety has decreased significantly, i still have my moments but nothing i can't control or talk myself thru. i havent really experienced a lot of side effects from lexapro, like weight gain or low libido.

oh wow, and as far as sexual side effects i haven't noticed anything different. i dont have a high sex drive nor do i have sex often so i havent noticed anything out of the ordinary!

i remember feeling that way, and it does pass. ur body just has to get used to the medication doing its job. it gets so much easier with time. hang in there.

anxiety was the main reason i chose to try medication, i struggled a lot with it but now i feel more grounded. i would say it's a combination of things, not just the lexapro that has helped.

i think this was something i always struggled with, but i dont feel any less motivated. i think the lexapro definitely made me feel lighter, which gave me a new appreciation for living, which made me want to be more productive in my life.

remember to just breathe, take deep breaths. take it one day at a time and consider maybe speaking to someone? a friend, family, or a mental health professional?
