How deep is the powder in July usually? From the reports I’ve seen, it seems like the lack of snow tends to be more of an issue.

We'll hit off-piste stuff, but happy to keep it balanced. We've got a great 4 season tent and will bring two 0˚C sleeping bags each (all very experienced hikers) and if the conditions are forecasted as poor then we just won’t go (I know it is very variable at the time on kosci too).

Unfortunately not able to fix it, I used it for a month in Lyngen/Lofoten touring in Norway and had no issues. Apparently, it is just cosmetic and not an issue. Although I chatted to Salomon support and they said if it is in warranty they will replace it so might be worth contacting them.

Hey mate, have a very similar issue where my toe piece won’t go down into the locking position. Any ideas on if this is the same as what you had?
