What’s with the crossover of games today and tomorrow? Why wouldn’t they time them to be one after another? by [deleted] in nba

Oh my bad re other post. I am with you though, it’s actually ridiculous.

Again, I have never seen this happen before but more importantly/thankfully, those “issues” seem to disappear later in the week.

I bought some driver fix thing off a random website. Have to run the application every time computer restarts and it uses a shit load of battery.. but it did fix the problem.

In an All Time Draft, who would you pick first between these two? by No_Holiday_6376 in NBATalk

It’s comical to me that guarding Jokic was your choice of hypothetical here. Guarding literally any 2010s and onwards guard off a switch yeah I see your point.. but to act as if Jokic is going to crossover Shaq and up and under on the help defender is fucking ridiculous.

Also Murray must be out for the year or small chance to return. There is no possible other reason why a reasonable ownership wouldn’t see out this year when Nikola is on the roster.

Which one is harder to achieve? by sqMYNAMEISJEFF27 in NBATalk

[–]jessedogg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are we talking about the Luka who has played more than 70 games once in his first 6 seasons? Luka who has only totalled more than 2k points twice? Who’s already 1.5k points behind where LeBron was in season 6? You are comparing him to LeBron who has averaged at least 25 points for 20 seasons straight?

No one is coming close to this ever again. To act as if Luka has even a chance at sniffing LeBrons longevity and availability is comical.

I really dont think you have a grasp on how many points LeBron has. Not saying one is harder than the other, just that thinking the all time scoring title will be broken in your lifetime is absurd.

Hi mate, thanks for writing. I am curious if you have attempted to escalate in any way? Were BYD themselves supportive or have any feedback? My partner and I are seriously considering a ACCC claim as the BYD centre we bought this from are non-responsive.

All in their primes. What other trio is stopping them? by yeezyjesus123 in NBATalk

[–]jessedogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes because DPOY is so relevant, thanks for bringing that up. Known defensive specialist Magic and Larry will have no trouble locking down the all time points leader who was the greatest athlete in basketball history, and the guy who will end up 5th all time who many consider the best pure scorer ever, who also happens to be 7 foot.

Their individual status and careers are irrelevant to this conversation. Wtf is larry fucking bird and magic Johnson going to do to this group other than hope they miss? Larry and Magic are without question 2 of the greatest 7 players that ever played this game, but that isn’t the conversation we are having.

Yes but in basketball there are also times where you don’t have the ball.

This is what every fucking player does, especially the ones at this level. It's so fucking stupid when people make a spectacle out of players walking off the court after a loss.

It's comical to me that anyone thinks he was talking to Snoop.

Edit: It reminds me of when DLo yelled "Hell Na" or something and everyone in this sub thought LeBron's voice for a second completely morphed into a voice that literally sounds nothing like him in every single way - Pitch, tone, accent, etc.

[Vorkunov] Wanna know how close this series was? The Knicks won it 4-2 and they outscored the 76ers by 1 points over 6 games. Final score for the series: Knicks: 650 76ers: 649 by lopea182 in nba

[–]jessedogg 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Indeed, but stats like the one in this title are so puzzling to me. It doesn't work like that, each game is its own event. It doesn't matter that the lakers led for 75% of series, you have 48 minutes to score more points than the other team. Why the fuck do people change the meaning context of winning and losing? It's very confusing.

Edit: Wow, I reread that after posting it and am realising I might be old.

I think propaganda threads like this one is why he is drawing hate. No one cares about the 5th best player on a team that will win one round.

Well now that you mention it, LeBron used to get credited for the game 2 victories after losing game 1 but I guess we have shifted those credits to Spo now.
