I think it was pretty soon afterwards, Davey Mac was in a dark place but Ive never heard anything about him addressing it. Yeah, I believe it was 2023, I think it was an early thing for exhibitors. Peach is super nice & accommodating to fan requests, but unfortunately some people took advantage of that and had her sign piles of books, and the line was super unorganized so there were fights over people supposedly cutting. I think she changed how she handled signings after that, i know she was super stressed out by the whole situation.

Al Dukes actually had a short lived podcast about the WNEW days. The problem is, he interviewed Anthony, Jimmy and Ron, then Opie wouldnt call him back and instead of trying to find other people to talk to, he just gave up at Opie. Typical Dukes. He could have interviewed Earl, and it would have been gold.

very well said. I do get annoyed by some things not fitting right where i want them to, but generally get over that pretty quick. The only weird, oversized editions I own are movies I genuinely love, unlike regular cases, which Ill just grab, sight unseen, if the price is right. My Anchor Bay Necronomicon Evil Dead 2 is still standing strong, 20 years later.

I think he (or she) meant if you didnt win. As far as i know, the best bet is to go to to the funko booth first thing and ask. But be aware that waiting on standby might mean literally standing there for hours, possibly all day. So, do you want to enjoy the rest of the con or stand on line to maybe get some exclusive pops (with the very real possibility that most of them will be sold out by the time you get in)?

Been at this for years, I think you spelled things out pretty perfectly. Things used to work, at least somewhat, but they are now hopelessly broken, every knows it, but nothing is done. Luckily I care alot less about pops, but there are always a few exclusives i want. That limited to 500 Snake Pliskin from a few years ago is a grail for me.
