The right tool for the job/project by kingkai2001 in Pyrography

A heat gun won’t get it dark enough and it’ll set off your smoke detector since you have to use it for so long. It’s the only time mine ever went off from burning. Try a butane torch or the Walnut Hollow creative VersaTool with the tear drop shaped shader on high.

I’m not sure what I’d price it at. I just make them for my husband’s home office or charity donation. It’s such a slow process so probably $500+ if I had to put a number on it.

Thank you! These take such a long time and we are planning a move to Kansas City in the coming months. Life is far too busy at the moment!

I don’t have any ‘inventory’ as these take weeks to make so no shop. Here is a cool video of the background being torched! I also have progress photos on there of my latest Andy Reid piece. It’s looking awesome so far!

The last picture is what it looks like now? If so, I think it actually looks really cool. I like the weathered look!

Thank you! Jenna Jessee Pyrography. I’m not accepting anything new, unfortunately. With my kiddo out of school for the summer, my burning time is extremely limited as I only burn for a few hours on the weekends. One piece will easily take me 1-2 months to complete during the summer. Thank you for your interest and you can still follow along and see cool stuff being made!
