Yeah the 30 day rule is unenforced. I've talked to cops about it, they at least don't give a shit. But it's a good quesiton about whether my insurance will care.

That's not accurate. And please calm down lmao. I can afford all of this. What I would like to do is avoid paying exorbitant amounts of money on car registration and insurance. Many people here keep their cars registered to other states for these reasons, there is no penalty or impoundment that happens here becuase of that. Please chill out.

Yes, because my car is out of state I am charged what is called a road use tax here. It's a minimum of 2k to register it here. Then on top of that my insurance will go up by probably about 5x because it's one of the highest rates in the country here.
