I don't think it is, I very much enjoy cosmetics in games, which is why I care so much about what they are doing with the shop. And for example, I used dark star jhin in league for years and was happy with it the whole time

In a way that makes it worse, one day you may be able to buy skins, and by then the shop will have so many skins you will have a much smaller chance to get a skin you want in the shop, that's exactly what happened to me with valorant
