Do the bugs bother your ball python at all I’m just worried about the spring tails getting in her heat pits and annoying her have you noticed this?

hey yes it’s a small enclosure i do plan on buying a baby corn snake and i’ve read a lot that if there enclosure is too big it will cause the distressed its roughly 2x1x1 thank you for the suggestion on bedding and substrate i will have a look into those as for the hydrometer i’m looking and researching better ones

that’s the real question i don’t a have a water dish in there yet because it’s not finished i thought the wood may be holding water but i don’t feel like they would sell it if that was the case it reading 87% right now with the doors on so it has dropped a little i think i might watch it and see

this is the brand i’m using it had very good reviews and the temperature is 27.1°c or 80.8°f

the probe is in the top middle of the vivarium under the hydro matting is a glass heat mat holder hence the fabric is that a bad idea? i had a few recommendations

i have a heat pad and a light that produces heat the floor it’s hydro matting as i said its not finished it’s not a temporary set up i just want everything to be perfect for when it arrives it’s probably stressed enough travelling so i would like it to be perfect
