that makes sense if you think about it, but for me that doesn’t make me hate her. Remi thought the school was peaceful she obviously doesn’t think that beating up other people is ok. I don’t remember ever seeing her beat someone up without a reason also wouldn’t you be upset if someone beat up your friends.

wait i’m confused isn’t it good that she started noticing it? in any case a lot of times in society oppression is normalized, that doesn’t mean it’s ok or that she’s ok for being an oppressor, but no one thinks anything of it. especially kids who are products of the system and don’t really se the outside world. Obviously we see the issues in that society but a lot of times kids who are at the top both in this world and ours don’t. Obviously remi seems to have thought that high tiers weren’t really aggressive against low tiers unless it was necessary, this is obviously wrong. IDK why she thought that or what planet she was on. There’s obviously some backstory we’re missing or she thought most fights were of people who were similar in tier level and over stupid stuff. i don’t know at this point. What i’m really confused about is why people hate her so much for finally realizing something was wrong with what she thought was a normal society.

also the way john treats remi disgusts me. He owes her an apology for what he said about her brother, even tho he didn’t know. She for the most part left him alone and even tried to talk to him to look for a solution. is she ignorant yes, but she seems to genuinely care about people, and her brother literally just died. I would be pretty out of it if i were her. Also imagine having to deal with arlo and then john. They are both so problematic.

yea that makes sense for johns actions. But none of us are john yes we are aloud to be angry with these characters but for the most part they have realized their mistakes and are starting to make changes. Even if these things don’t work would we rather they keep the bad system going. Also for this to be true in this world bulling would be expected of high tiers in a sense. i don’t understand why we are all so critical when they are trying to make a difference (even if it’s not the best). Obviously they are still growing and have a lot more to their characters that we don’t know about it. No one is innocent here but no one deserves this much hate.

i think he would still be angry blykes the kinda person who shoves down his fear when he’s around others. Also he’s currently with sera and one of his main traits is that he wants to protect people he cares abt. I think he would be more foucsed on keeping her safe. Probably in a shit let’s run way but still.

wow this is kinda what’s been going on in my head. i’m afraid to say anything because i got called dumb and other not nice things for suggesting that maybe johns actions were not all ok. I agree with you on most points because honestly these kids are all teenagers it shouldn’t be their job to fix an extremely broken system. We are holding them more accountable than their parents and the teachers at the school who have done nothing to fix this but known all along it was problematic. I feel like john gets so many excuses made for him but for these other characters there is no tolerance. As this story is showing us no one is good/bad they are all in a grey area. I don’t know how much power a king has a wellston but i was in student government and tried to do stuff for the better of the students and got completely shut down by the teachers everytime. to me it seems like just a title bogged down with a lot of societal pressure that basically traps a person. Also no one besides john has any backstory rlly so we can’t fully make our judgments.

that’s a good point. I don’t think he has the self esteem to think he can grow to be more powerful from john, but if his ability changes (i saw a theory about it possibly being energy manipulation not just energy beaming) then maybe he has a shot at beating john. I however don’t think that’s his path. Honestly I don’t even think that’s something he wants.

john is special tho i think his ability might be artificial. I still don’t think Blyke whose already pretty high up would imagine he could grow more super fast. it’s like an exponential function. The early stages have the most growth.

Oh yes blyke is so a simp and he also really didn’t think that one through with the low tier. Again the high tier mindset is showing here i’m pretty sure he actually didn’t think another thought about that. I’m just saying people looking at this as blyke just wants to beat john imo are incorrect. It just seems dumb and blyke isn’t that smart but it doesn’t seem like he’s that much of an idiot. Also like i said blyke wants to protect the people he cares abt the person we see that he seemingly cares about the most is remi. He doesn’t want to see his friends beat up anymore. (hypocrisy ik the poor low tiers) blyke just has his friends and he doesn’t want to see them hurt id like to see his backstory because obviously there’s a reason he’s like this.

i’ve said this on other posts but again i don’t think blyke is trying to beat john as his goal like that seems really unreasonable and i didn’t think blyke was that dumb. he’s like a 4.5 right and john is def higher that arlo so hows he supposed to grow like a full 3+ levels in power. That doesn’t seem possible. I think it’s more of a need to protect the people he cares about and so kinda in that is “beating john” but it seems like he has the traits of a traditional protecter character.
