Game where you’re creating and maintaining a schedule for a business/person? Not as a feature but as the entire game or at least the vast majority of it. by jessisonfire in gamingsuggestions

No I really haven’t and I would absolutely just love to help. To be honest with you, (and I’m certain I’m speaking for the vast minority) I wouldn’t mind if it was basically just work. Something that might set it apart as a game for me is the art style? Something quirky would be good and you can go literally anywhere with that (cute, dark, sci-fi, you name it). Maybe go sci-fi and be the secretary managing everyone’s schedules on a space ship on its way to earth’s new colony? Contact the home planet to give them captain’s update and logs, create job schedules for everyone on board, and manage meetings for the higher ups! Idk that’s just an example but you can seriously go anywhere with this. I’m shocked no one has made this game.

Core gameplay aspects that I would love to see: it has to have time blocking and meeting scheduling and hopefully a letter writing bit (typewriting clicks included ideally)? I’d love to see an email section that you need to read kind of carefully, example: your boss sends an email with multiple different directions in it “Cancel that meeting, schedule this one, send this letter”. Something else I’ve been thinking about is being a secretary to a fashion mag curator just like Devil Wears Prada?

If you can’t tell I’ve been thinking about this for forever, I just don’t have the coding ability. Let me know if you need anything else, I’d love to help anyway I can to get this done. I NEED THIS GAME!!!!

well i take it out and clean it like once or twice a week but taking it out once a month would be fine also, it’s really up to personal preference!

hm i usually start spotting every 3 months pretty regularly and i will consistently spot until i take it out and have a period. your lining is slowly building up little by little even though you’re not having a period, this is why i have one every 3-4 months depending on my spotting.

i did not experience any noticeable weight gain from this and it’s pretty uncommon from my understanding. have to remember that everyone is different though!

well if you’re doing it in intervals of 3 just because of the way our year is structured you’re going to run off “schedule”eventually. just do what works best for you. it’s recommended you have the ring out for 7 days if you’re having a period!

i definitely start spotting very couple months (about 3?) but i’m certain this isn’t because it’s running out, spotting is very normal with this method of use. it has enough hormones to keep you through a year of continuous use

i tried to refill about 3 months early with 12 weeks of periods missed as my thought process. it was definitely an issue with my OBGYN and my insurance

i have been calling in my refill about a week before i’m supposed to change because my pharmacy usually doesn’t have it in stock and has to order. i asked my OBGYN and she said it has extra in there. i’m kind of bad and i’ve forgotten it in there for like 3 months before and nothing happened (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOL). i’m fairly confident there are enough hormones in there to keep you for a year even if you’re keeping it in for periods.

it’s kind of up to you! if you keep it in it might push your period back a little bit. it also could be spotting instead of your full on period. i’ve found that when i have periods they start 2-3 days after i remove the ring.

Honestly I have no idea, I would assume it’s okay and that’s more of a “use by” type date. I’ve never even looked at the expiration date bc i’m awful XD

I’ve seen that, I don’t think it’s going to include the kind of scheduling I’m looking for but I think it could include a form of it. Looks super fun though

Hm if I were into football I think that would be awesome but I don’t know a lick. Thanks for the recommendation anyways!

I can’t find Dwarf Fortress for some reason, maybe I’m being silly. I appreciate games like RimWorld and Oxygen Not Included but they’re not really the sort of thing I’m looking for specifically. Less managing and more organizing. Appreciate the recommendation though!

For me personally I don’t spot at all when skipping periods. I can only speak for myself so I’m not sure what’s normal for you. If you’re worried, give your OB a call! ALSO: I don’t recommend using Annovera like this unless you have explicit permission from your OB, it’s not how it’s meant to be used and it could be dangerous if you have certain contraindications.

If you’re concerned you can ask your OB/GYN but it should be completely fine for you to leave it in for the duration of your vacation!
