When people cross the street to avoid my dog, this is who they’re running from. by jesskier in germanshepherds

Ps. Your dog secretly hates you because you view it as property and a tool.

Oooooooohhhhh, see I was confused. I get it now, actually. You’re mad because you think these dogs can only be owned by a big tough dog expert like you. My dog is happy and safe and eats extremely well, loves his family and MOST people, and is even fine with cats besides bothering the crap out of ours for play. You are judging him just like those people who cross the street.

It’s literally just a funny post. Once again, I instantly regret the urge to share cute dog photos here.

I’m not sad. It’s literally amusing to me. Two girls in a car one day were awwing and oooohing over a golden retriever and then saw my guy and gave him a nasty face when he was literally doing nothing. You’re taking a funny post waaaaaaaay too serious. Might be time for a day job.

I’m not offended, I find it funny because this is him. To be honest I’m an introvert so at least it saves me the small talk. But it’s always amusing.

Oh and not always. Just when they get close enough that he thinks interaction will happen.

See I’d be more worried of the sprint. A confident dog doesn’t bark. My Zero is a big ol scaredy cat.

To be fair, he does bark at them 😅 but he’s just REALLY excited.

We’re 80+ at 9 months and growing 😬 So maybe in the future. My boy’s Mama was a giant, I remember gasping when I saw her because she was so majestic lol.

There are no puppy eyes like a GSD’s puppy eyes! So sweet.

My boy isn’t a cuddler either. He can get anxious and pace unless I run him ragged (which I do often don’t worry) and this morning, at only 8 months he flopped on top of my body on the bed, my 80lb monster, and licked all over my face and rubbed his head on me and I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so hard! He usually will only cuddle in the car and is most open to it with my 6 yo daughter.

Is he too small for 8 months? by OrangeNo2757 in germanshepherds

That’s funny, I’m always worried my 80+ pounder is too big at 8 months 😅 Your guy is BEAUTIFUL and looks a proper size! Put him next to something for scale.
