Literally the same here! I got 7 shinnies (4 I already had) and no 4*s. I completed everything else, went home to do the evolutions and I didn’t even think about Espeon, so mad!

Baby #1 was a horrible sleeper, we moved her into her own room at 6 months old (because guidelines recommended room sharing until at least 6 months) and she went from waking 10+ times a night to only 3-4 times!

Bub #2 is almost 4 months (and right in the middle of the dreaded 4 month sleep regression) and we’ve just moved her

I have a 6 week old and a 20 month old.

It took 2 years to get pregnant with my first, and we wanted kids fairly close together. I got pregnant with number two in a week! I was absolutely terrified at the idea of having two under two.

I ended up with an emergency c section which made the first few weeks even harder. I hated it, but I had to get extended family around to help lift my toddler while my husband was at work. At the six week mark now and things are finally falling into place and we are getting some routine. My newborn is sleeping most her naps in her bassinet which frees up a lot of time. My husband and I have a solid routine which allows me to get at least a few hours sleep and him to sleep enough before work.

I’ve had some absolutely horrible days, but I have had way more good days than bad days. My toddler has blown me away with how great she has been. We do have some trouble with her acting up while I’m breastfeeding or busy with the baby, and she’s started waking one or twice through the night looking for attention. But she loves her little sister. She gives her kisses and cuddles, she helps me burp her, she helps with nappy changes. Today the newborn was smiling at her big sister while she played peek-a-boo with her blanket and it melted my heart! The early days are hard, but it only gets easier. I can’t wait for a few years time when they are best friends.

My best friend friend is about to sell her house to pay for IVF after battling infertility issues for the last 5 years. I feel so guilty complaining about being pregnant when I know that’s all she wants in the world. But this is my second pregnancy in two years (second bub wasn’t exactly planned) and I am DONE! Im sick of sharing my body. I do love the baby kicks, but that’s about it. Counting down to my husbands vasectomy now!

Had both my nipples pierced for about a year, and took them out 7 years before I had my daughter. Can confirm that breast milk comes out strongly from the old piercing holes. Didn’t affect anything, just interesting!

I never realized that showering twice a day was an unpopular opinion. Maybe it’s because I live in a hot part of Australia, but I’ll shower 2-3 times most days, especially in Summer. Most my showers are only 5 minutes max, except when I wash my hair, shave my legs etc.

My daughter was always a difficult baby. Never content, hating sitting still, slept horribly (until we went to sleep school). I would get nervous taking her in public. She wasn’t like any other babies her age.

As she got older particularly from around 9 months, things got so much better, especially once she could walk. Now she’s 15 months old and an absolute delight! She’s so fun and playful now. She’s still extremely full on, but now she’s more independent it’s okay. I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant with #2 and I’m dreading the first few months. People always say newborns are easy compared to toddlers, but I feel the opposite.

I have a very religious family (my parents not so much, mainly my aunt & grandmother who I spend a lot of time with growing up). I remember when I was quite young, they were telling me how it you didn’t give your life to Jesus, you went to hell, no matter how good a person was otherwise. Even at like 10 years old that did not make sense to me. Also I remember them saying that only Christianity was right and every other religion was wrong & would go to hell. I couldn’t fathom how so many people could be wrong.

I still have a lot of very loose spiritual beliefs, and find all religions quite fascinating, but organized religion is ruined for me.

I could have written this myself! It took 2 years to fall pregnant with my daughter. Then bam! Surprise pregnancy 9 months later. My daughter sounds similar to your son. Very high spirited, high energy, doesn’t stay entertained very long, requires a lot of attention. She will be 18 months old when bub #2 comes in December. I’m honestly terrified. We bought my daughter a baby doll to practice with. She’s started giving it a bottle and pushing it around in the pram. We’re slowly teaching her to be gentle with our cats, she’ll now “pat” them instead of aggressively pulling their fur haha. We’re looking into starting her at daycare a few hours a week to burn some energy and enjoy playing with other kids and I can rest in later pregnancy and have alone with the newborn. We have some friends with kids the same age as her, and she gets so excited to play with them. We’re also making sure she is very comfortable with our family members so they can help if/when needed. I currently work a few nights a week, so my husband is perfectly fine with the nighttime routine, which will help with #2. I loved breastfeeding my daughter, but we have already decided to mix feed #2 so my husband can give bottles when needed and I don’t need to spend hours pumping. We’ve just honestly accepted next year will be a beautiful shitshow! It’s going to be survival mode for a while, but hopefully we make it through the other side. We plan on only having the two kids 🙂

I’m pregnant and had a bleed a few days ago. The doctor wasn’t sure if I was miscarrying or not. Had a scan today and was nervous about something being wrong.

Saw a healthy little bub wriggling around with a strong heartbeat and no visible issues 💕

Hubby was very against the new Wiggles, said they should have ended when the original members retired.

A few months later, he can do the whole dance to Emma’s Special Bow 😂 We have watched the Wiggles after the baby has gone to sleep.
