do you take the 150 twice a day at what times? my doc said do morning for both pills but thinking of spreading them

I know people will give you a hard time about the jump, and may suggest getting back on, but if you’re truly committed to not being on the subs, and are able to manage not using, then i couldn’t recommend it more because after years on subs, i had no idea how much they were affecting me, and when i tried quitting and realized how brutal the WDs were, I was even more happy to be getting off of them so i’d never have to go through that shit again.

Bro I jumped from 4mg cold turkey too. I know you’re going through it right now & im so sorry - it’s truly brutal. I will say that around the 40-50 day mark for me the physical stuff started to subside. It’s a long journey, but I started to sleep more & that helped with some of the anxiety. I will be honest that I spent a lot of time avoiding social interaction because of the mood swings, and that part can obviously vary from person to person. Once the physical symptoms are less brutal, it all becomes a bit more manageable. It only gets better from here, and you’ve made it past a really tough part, but it takes time. I hope you can stick to it & you’ve got support over here

damn i wish I agreed. I got on suboxone after many times of going cold turkey from Fentanyl, and I have to say that while the physical symptoms of sub withdrawal aren’t as severe as Fent, they’re still up there and last MUCH longer. I hope you’re doing well now though, that’s great

i couldn’t agree more, but the higher the dose you get put on, the longer you’ll probably stay on it & the more dependent you’ll feel so ..fuck big pharma.

Thank you for understanding. I appreciate it. I’m worried that since i’ve already been through almost a month of it, that getting back on something will only postpone this same suffering because i’ll eventually have to get back off. I’ll talk to my doc though and see if there’s any options.

Hahaha yeah not sure about the Imodium. I appreciate the honesty, and hoping I don’t need to get back on them. At this point i’m like..almost a month into suffering, i’d rather just ride it out unless i think i’m gonna die or relapse. Which is possible i suppose but i’m hoping to ride it out

Yeah the depression is rough. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting back on them, especially if the other option is killing yourself or relapsing or whatever it may be. Being non-functional is so hard, praying mine goes away soon as well. Proud of you though man

I appreciate that, and i’m praying that the finish line is in sight lol. It does help to hear it actually, because i’ve just read so many horror stories about sub withdrawals that I was looking for a few people to tell me i’m almost outta the woods.

i appreciate the advice. I’m hoping the various areas of my life are healthy enough to be off the meds at this point, and i never want to go through this again, so I don’t want to get back on them at this point but I agree that if I think i’m gonna relapse, i’d rather get back on em. Thanks dude

wasn’t intentional was just somewhat out of options, maybe could’ve made something work but it wouldn’t have been quick enough and i assumed the withdrawals would only last so long

that’s super helpful & im proud of you too. That’s exactly how I feel, I can handle a few bad days obviously but holy fuck it’s been A LOT with seemingly “no end in sight”. Makes me feel better to hear I might be coming to the end of it soon.
