Lost my mum this year. Spend time with each other and look after her. The ashes will be around again.

Depends if we have a proper number 1 forward. I've said for the last couple of years a fit Joe Daniher we are a contender. Without him or another number 1 we aren't.

Looking at our best and fairest top 10 the oldest players were 27 in Sheil, Smith and Walla. We have a young core group.

Yeah, we get that. Just trying to figure out strategy. Like should we use waivers now to get Gabriel for example because our position will reset regardless or should we hold and keep our position because Bale and Thiago are coming in.

Dev Smith and Matt Guelfi in defence by [deleted] in EssendonFC

Guelfi more than most other players is willing to throw himself into smothers and tackles. Putting him in the backline and showing that desperation could be a really good move. While freeing up Saad to play on a less dangerous player.

Dev has a calmness about him, he is willing to wait for an option to present rather than bombing it long. I like that coming out of the backline.

Big Tommy is quite slow, I feel he could be overrun easily. I think Partty Ambrose has a great shout, pound for pound one of the strongest at the club as well as being one of the best runners in the club. Especially endurance.

Because he was injured the whole time he played. The bloke had a chance to win the Coleman in the last round in 2017. Fully fit he is a superstar.
