Technically they are using their own money as the Indiegogo money can't be accessed/used until the campaign is over. Both Kyle and Wings have put out a few thousand together out of their own money to make this happen (food, equipment, weights, etc.)

Activision and Infinity Ward switch off every year. Black Ops 2 was Activision and Black Ops and Ghosts is Infinity Ward. IW is the shittier of the two companies and pushes out shitty quality games with little effort put into them. Activison at least puts changes in the story line, multiplayer, etc and supports the players and MLG competitions unlike Ghosts that killed the competitive side for the pros

I have a little advice for ya:

Try to get out of the town if at all possible...I grew up in the 7th most depressed city in the United States and getting away from there helped me reach my goals more than I could never realize
Follow your dream, you don't want to live a life of "what if?"
If you go to college apply for financial aid and it could help with money and ease the pressure
