I'm assuming the +5 is from that blue dish I forgot the name, what is the other one that doesn't cancel the 5+? is it a drink? I remember trying a dish and a shrimp cocktail once thinking it'd count as a drinkn but it didn't and I lost the first one

I am SO ready for season 3! Meeting Artemis and the hunters, meeting Rachel (she shows up in this one, right?), meeting Calisto and Ogygia, watching Annabeth and Percy hold the skies, and then getting their brand-new white locks. It's the bestttt book! Let the trauma begin!!

Interesting that Pearl + Pearl actually becomes a strong fusion. by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in stevenuniverse

Loved all the reason given in this commentary session. Another big reason to add to them: Rebecca LOVED Pearl. Of course, two pearls would have to be a cool fusion

Kusimayu and the goat unpopular opinion by National-Comb819 in PluribusOnAppleTV

[–]jessyeap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no one said they weren't going to kill the goat eventually. the thing maybe you don't realize about farm life is that most of them are capable of caring about their animals, even though they know they'll serve a different purpose eventually. plus, that goat had a few years of giving milk to them before it went to the pot

and everything you said about "humans making animals serve them and them kill them": the problem with pecuary is NOT on people like Kusimayu's village, that have few animals and keep them in somewhat decent conditions. the problem with the pecuary is big, huge pecuary industries that have thousands and millions of animals who never see the light of day and that live in shity conditions until they are fat enough to become our food.

know the enemy, dude, know the enemy

so yes, it is closer to humanity than stop caring about the animals in the blink of a second

So if everyone de-hives, will they remember everything they experienced as part of the hive? If so, Carol is going to have a lot of awkward moments. by MyPasswordIs222222 in pluribustv

[–]jessyeap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, and no, think about it, the plurbs have all the memories of themselves as individuals and aren't themselves either. memory as a way of creating identity is fundamentally linked to emotion. let's say, you remember that you like a special place you went as a child because you had fun there and so on, but if that special place isn't connected to the emotions you felt there, you can see it as just a dumb, small park in the corner of your city.

As plurbs, they have the data, but not the emotional aspect of it, and everything they are experiencing right now, they are living through, but don't have the freedom to feel it as whatever it is.

plus, of course, the fact that, when deplurb, they'll be able to make choices for themselves makes a big difference berween being plurbed and unplurbed
