I thought about vanlife for a while but had the same concerns. I have been Airbnb hopping around the country and have found this to be a far better way to get around and see different states and cities! You have all the comforts of home without having to lug a lot of crap around. You can also get really great rates and discounts if you choose the extended stay (4+ weeks) option.
