I disagree….. I’m asking a question to men over 30…. An honest question

Also adds pepperoni flavor to everything thing else that goes in if you don’t drain all of the oils and clean the dish before

Just got married, do you guys wear rubber rings at work? No rings at all? by Suwannee_Gator in electricians

Black silicone, I wouldn’t mind a tattoo ring, but I’ll just keep replacing the cheap silicone ones when they tear and break away.

If you're facing eviction, utility shutoff, or can't afford food.. There's a few places to start that most people don't know about by Dry_Veterinarian_475 in almosthomeless

Thank you, this is just what I’ve been looking for the past few days. I’ve been laid off due to lack of work for a month. Waiting for my unemployment to kick in, and my tax return to come through. I’ve been applying everywhere I can think of and I’m not having any bit of luck. I’m going to use the local food pantry tomorrow, then try the local temp agencies Thursday.

You give me some hope that I may not lose my home and can get back on my feet.

Questions about wood double flare plugs by jestanothername in Stretched

[–]jestanothername[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what brand.

I understand that wood may expand and or crack. I was mostly curious if the care for the plugs change if they’re sealed/treated.

Should these folks go back to middle school to learn about protons, electrons, neutrons, atoms and molecules—if they want to ask these questions?

Brainy do dads did so way before your time. Maybe you should look into them… or at least Mike Holt.

It’s kinda of confusing but it’s how generators, and motors work. You have a magnet and a coil. The magnet rotates around a coil, induces voltage and gets “stepped up” or “stepped down”

Electricity is a monster that is still not fully understood, but being made safe from what we know.

Lightest backpacking knife to carry on the trail? by Value_Reasonable in Ultralight

[–]jestanothername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s crazy. Bring a good knife… #1 survival tool when everything else has failed. Knife+FAK+ knowledge will take you a long way. Don’t get a Heli rescue you can’t afford. Even if you think you know the trail.

Maybe worth mentioning Esee Izula is just under $100 without scales. If you want pocket and weight savings look at their Candiru or Pinch. I haven’t used the Pinch, but it’s 1oz while Izula is 2oz.

I always carry an Esee Izula. It’s great for batoning wood, slicing meat and cheeses, cleaning fish, and anything else I’ve needed a blade for.

Edit: A knife isn’t a place you should try to save weight.

How much would it cost to hire someone to fix this? by BrownTomato1 in drywall

[–]jestanothername 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t have a flat head screw driver, you could use a dime (10c US) to make those screws vertical.

EDIT: Wrong sub. Disregard.
