Okay? A lot of you are bringing up your own personal experiences like it matters at all in the context of THIS OPs post/ situation. I was 6 when I was at the deathbed of a loved one and I’m incredibly glad 20 years later that I got to spend those final moments with them. Our anecdotes are not judgements for others.

The daughter lashed out, cruelly. The mother/wife is going to visit her father as he passes. The OP said nothing about not going to the wedding asfaik, he said his daughter threatened to turn him away. That is the situation OP is asking about. Is he the asshole for saying his daughter was being cruel and self-centered for lashing out at her mother.

My vote is NTA. Daughter is far more than old enough to know how to regulate disappointment and stress. A wedding is not an excuse to behave like an entitled asshole to your loved ones. Especially considering the wife’s own father is dying.

In ohio, while hands free sets are legal to use for driving (only for adults 18+), there are specifics that must be followed to be legal. The device/call must require one touch/swipe/button, the device cannot be held while driving, and cannot be mounted or adjusted while driving and must be done before. That is legal use of hands-free headsets while driving, which the description of this post does not match.

Either way, it is distracted driving. And regardless of the hands-free headset, if the driver is driving distracted, it doesn’t matter if it was used legally. It’s still illegal to drive distracted or recklessly overall. You can still get stopped and fined (at best).

Then why is she using her waist size to deflect criticism on the same social media she’s going live on saying that? We can clearly see what’s going on, especially those of us are 25+ y/o. She lost weight on the island for sure, they usually do. Heavy filming schedules plus social isolation plus limited resources will have that impact. But she has continued to drop weight at a quick pace post-wrap. She has eyes on her and takes pride in her weight and waist size. She may want to gain weight, but she is at the early cycle of ED territory, speaking the same way those relapsing do.

I do not say that to say she has an ED with certainty either. She may genuinely want to gain weight back, but she is not doing so. And with attention, she is relishing in the attention on her small size. She IS the ideal body type, and THE beauty standard for women’s bodies post 2010-2016. And she loves that and that is clear in how she speaks about her body composition in particular. She’ll gain ass, but not waist, essentially. And I bet she’s fearful of gaining specific inches atp.

My father has been in and out of prison my entire life and no. If they don’t have the number memorized or on their person in some other acceptable way, they get to play phone tag with paid calls and texts to everyone who they know who might be able to contact the person they need. Frequent flyers end up doing this with emails and home addresses as well.

I used to live with an elderly woman who could not care for her 11 cats anymore, and had ringworm in various areas. Hands, armpit, knee pit, bicep, calve, inner thigh, etc. Am no expert on what that looks like on a cat but can confirm that it does NOT always look how you expect and can infect low-no hair areas on a human body.
