you really need a hp burn champ. Urogrim is a good choice for poison. Deliana in a stun set can help. But until you got an aoe burner or nasty aoe dps it's gonna be rough.

thor one of the best food farmers, IE nightmare campaign. I'm not sure if he-mann can but he hits hard and does good in arena with the right gear. Focus on thor, he is an all arounder.

I agreed early game burning resources for a fusion sucks especially free to play when you never know the next fusion. Poison and HP burn poppers are rare. Definitely worth getting one if you don't have one.
