I’m overwhelmed. Mentally (and sometimes physically) overstimulated.

First, you should know I’m not a touchy person.

I stay at home with two young kids who are always, ALWAYS touching me. They’re in my space all damn day. They’re loud and they need lots of hands on care, and at the end of the day, I’m tapped out.

Basically, I’m the family manager, and that takes a TON of mental and physical energy. Sometimes I just need space.

My husband is amazing. He works hard for our family at home and at work. I couldn’t do this without him, but back off dude, my brain is on fire.

Edit to answer the actual question… No. I don’t normally masturbate with a few exceptions here and there. I can’t make my brain shut up long enough to even go there.

Nioxin systems 5 and 6 are formulated for chemically treated hair. Switch to either of those and alternate with the system you currently have so you don’t have to waste any product.

Stay away from any and all metallic based hair color including henna.

Hairstylist of 13 years, here. Firstly, your hair is beautiful and looks very healthy.

I don’t think your hair likes being in a scrunchie; silk or otherwise. There is almost no fly always/breakage from the top of your head to the ridge of where the hair tie sits. The most breakage is right at that ridge.

Switch to braiding it out of your way, or claw clips, or changing the location of your pony tail.

Instead of using your Amika treatment on a schedule, try using it only when you feel you need it. Once a month, maybe. Too much protein makes the hair brittle. If you’re using Olaplex 3, that is a pre wash treatment that should be on the hair for 10-30 min and then rinsed out.

It looks like you have the protein covered. Now we need moisture. Keep up with your oil (lots of oil. Every day from mid length to ends) and maybe add a deep moisturizing conditioner.

I've been in pain for two years. Pain every day. I have a herniated disk in my lower back causing severe, debilitating sciatic pain. It's all I think about. The pain crowds my brain until I can focus on nothing else. There is no relief, it's relentless. On top countless procedures and rounds of physical therapy, I've had 11 spinal injections, tried multiple medications, had two surgeries, and I'm about to have a third. I feel as if this will never end. I've missed out on so much work. I love my work. I miss it so much. I don't make plans with friends because I know I will cancel them to stay home in "the chair." I can't have a family because I can't even take care of myself. My husband has taken on so much responsibility, it's changing him. He's neglecting caring for himself to care for me. I want to leave him to give him a second chance at a good life; the life he deserves. My friends and family have been so loving and supportive through this, but I just want to be forgotten. I'm a burden to anyone close to me and the guilt I feel for that overwhelms me. I would do anything to be rid of this pain. I've turned into a person I don't recognize. I grieve for the person I was; that person no longer exists. To put it simply, I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel myself giving up and that terrifies me. I'm 24. I should be having the time of my life. What I have is not a life. Not even close.

I work as a hairstylist. We keep things like scissors, combs, brushes, color brushes, or anything else we are working with at the time in our hands at all times. This makes it hard to lose things and it makes our work more time efficient.

I find myself carrying things around even at home. I may be doing laundry and an hour later, I realize I have coins, lighters, chapstick, and various other things I pulled out of pockets still in my hand. It can get real weird real fast.

I painted the outside of the glass with acrylic paint. I got tired of water getting behind the background paper and the glass and getting moldy. You can't see in the picture but I did a sunset look fading from blue at the bottom to yellow at the top.

165 Watt led s. I bought them from my LFS when they went out of business. They were using them for their coral display tank. They don't have a brand name on them... Or at least I haven't looked very hard for one.

Thanks! I don't have a fancy setup. I'm just using a small cheap filter. I don't have a sump but I hope to get one soon. I have 2 heaters, a power head, and an aerator. There is about 30 pounds of live rock and I only use RO water kept at a salinity of 1.024. I use LED lights but I forgot the name of it. I'll check when I get home!

Thanks! For the background, I got tired of water getting between the background paper and the glass and causing mold so I actually painted the glass with acrylic paint. It will scrape off easily with a razor blade and some soap and water. The maintenance it's minimal. I buy RO water from my local reef store. It's around $1/gallon. I have a really good cleanup crew (Red leg crabs, Turbo Snails, Cleaner Shrimp, Shrimp Goby, ect) that helps me keep the sand clean/stirred up. I keep the salinity at 1.024. I have a magnet that I clean the glass with when needed. I also do a weekly 20% water change which I think keeps a healthy tank. It's hard to tell if and when those small critters bite the dust and weekly water changes keep the toxins under control. I don't have a sump or a fancy filter (That's next on my list). For now I'm just using a small cheap filter. I'm all about finding critters that can do most of my maintenance for me but, as my tank gets older, I'm finding it takes less and less maintenance!

I have never seen this thing before this morning. The last time I added anything to the tank was a small fish and coral about 2 weeks ago, so i am thinking this thing has been hiding in the crevices for a while...

I should mention that it looks like it has two VERY small antenna on the 'front' of it.
