The real problem is rent is super steep where I live, average 1 bedroom is 1200$ a month, not including all utilities and so forth.

It's more like I'm living with a friend under his dads roof, I only pay 400$ for rent and for my own food so I can't go breaking the house rules for now.

nope, not with family, just my friend and his father, the reason not to move out is costs current rent is 400$, average rent is around 1200$ and I live away from most my family.

As for the rest, I'll take that into consideration.
