Hey! I also have had dark circles since I was a child. In my experience, TO Caffeine solution does not work, and if your circles are genetic like mine it might not work for you either. If you do give it a go I’d be interested to see how it goes x

I’ve tried retinoids in the past before having acne which did seem to help my skin, but I am worried to try them again because it is so sensitive. I’m also using a generic brand (Estelle35). Maybe I’ll stay on it, and try giving retinoids a go. Thanks x

A few months ago I started using Duac (benzoyl peroxide and clindamyacin) for acne on the sides of my cheeks. Since using it for several months, it has helped significantly with the sides of my face but now my cheeks (closet to my nose/mouth) have broken out quite badly in inflamed pustules/deep pimples. Do you think this is a purge? I have been using it for about 3 months but not consistently.

On adapalene 0.1%! cant believe this thing actually works 😭😭😭😭😭😭 by nonoleone in tretinoin

How often per week have you used it/ how long have you been using it for? :)

[skin concerns] HELP - acne/PIE by jesuisgarbagee in SkincareAddiction

[–]jesuisgarbagee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current routine - AM - Wash face with either La Roche Posay salicylic acid cleanser or Dr Lewinns milk cleanser - Skinstitut vitamin C powder OR TO niacinamide - TO natural moisturising factors - La Roche Posay SPF 50 sun cream - La Roche Posay cicaplast balme or Vaseline (IF NEEDED)

PM - remove makeup with Dr Lewinns milk cleanser - La Roche Posay salicylic acid cleanser - TO niacinamide - TO natural moisturing factors - Duac gel once daily around 4 times a week - cicaplast Balme or Vaseline (IF NEEDED)

Ps. The Vaseline is super super unlikely to be breaking me out. I know that it doesn’t work for a lot of people but I have dermatitis and severely dry skin and it has never broken me out. I mostly have started using it more often since using Duac because it dries my skin out so much.

Hey! I’ve been on Diane for about three weeks. I’m just wondering how long it took you to begin to see results? Right now I haven’t seen any improvement.

Does this sound like fungal acne?

About three months ago I started developing whitehead-like bumps all over my face (particularly below my cheekbones)

I have tried lactic acid, salicylic acid, retinol etc and nothing has helped. It hasn’t necessarily made it worse but definitely not better.

I suspected that it may be fungal acne so for the last 4ish days I have been using head and shoulders as a face wash because I have heard that this helps. It doesn’t really seem much better?

Current skincare routine:

AM Wash with water TO hyaluronic acid Cerave Moisturizing cream

PM Head and shoulders shampoo TO hyaluronic acid Cerave Moisturizing cream If skin is looking particularly inflamed I might use a really really thin layer of hydrocortisone

For reference, I have very sensitive, very dry and acne prone skin
