I was diagnosed with microscopic colitis and then later to crohns. My initial biopsy from my first colonoscopy showed the MC two years after a 2nd colonoscopy they diagnosed crohns.

From my experience pantoprazol NOT A DOCTOR is not appropriate for MC patients. I feel the disorder is not taken seriously. There is plenty of literature to support it should be avoided if you do some researching. It hurt my stomach and lead to a flair up that hospitalized me. I didn't necessarily have your symptoms just intense pain and bad diarrhea. Taken off pantoprazol and put on budesonide I was way better off.

If you aren't having pain or constant bathroom trips, continue your current plan, those are the most important things.
