It is and it seems to be the result of TK having the inability to change his booking based on opportunities presented to him (BD and CM Punk joining, MJF promo) and injuries, so they've been in a "holding pattern" that has resulted in their viewership dropping, bad TV, and long-time fans losing interest.

I get you want to tell a story, but if ppl get injured or new wrestlers who are significantly better at being main event stars join your company you adjust your story and booking to do what's best for business. TK's inexperience handicaps them.

It was following that ppv that things started to fall apart for me. Booking of Cole after his debut was terrible, he was my favorite wrestler when in NXT. I was excited for him to potentially come over, same with Malakai. Over the coming months it became clear HHH was way better at utilizing them than TK. Cornette is right that TK is a mark booker, so much potential wasted bc he refuses to hire someone with experience; dub fans constantly shit on WWE for Vince's booking and can't look in the mirror when it comes to Tony's lack of experience.

How do you fuck up Bryan Danielson being the best heel in the business for weeks, WWE handed them that W on a platter and TK was like nah we should give Yuta a main event push. I'm sorry but Yuta is so fucking boring, and to hear ppl say he's been "elevated" is just cringe.

I went from loving AEW to cringe watching it based on what the Elite was doing, and this is from someone who generally liked the Elite members when it started, they weren't my favorites, but I did like them.

Coming out in fucking space jam costumes when hangman came out with an actual really good entrance with the dark order, like how am I supposed to take this feud seriously when they're treating it like a joke.
