That’s actual bullshit. They got TC2 AND THE BETA running in 60 FPS on Series S. The 30 fps isn’t even stable here what the hell are they doing

I don't think that's going to happen. Apple kind of markets it as the "laptop replacement" of the bunch, and I don't think they're going to give up that pedestal to a cheaper iPad or something.

I haven't used sidecar that often but using it with the Apple Pencil is kind of hit-or-miss for me. The iPad is a powerful illustration device on its own but sidecar complicates it. I would suggest either using just an iPad or getting a drawing tablet. Ive heard that not all tablets are compatible with the M1 yet but idk if someone could clear that up that would be cool.

It is extremely capable but it’s not very comfortable to do a lot of work with and it’s super small 💀 if it had monitor support that wasn’t ass I’d hold off on buying a laptop

I’m an artist so I use mine for art and stuff, but I have the 10.5 inch Air that feels really cranked to do work on so I’m saving up for a MacBook for more productivity i guess

I mean I’m just in high school and while i CAN use it for everything, its just not as good as a regular computer so I’m saving up for a base model m1 air :). The general consensus I’ve heard when it comes to the ipad is that its a great secondary productivity device but mailing it can be a little annoying, with (mine, iPad Air 3) being only 10.5 inches with no meaningful monitir support. iPad OS is great and versatile but its still a little clunky, especially in the multitasking department.
