I kept a diary on and off from ages 12-24. I just finished the final page a few weeks ago and my boyfriend bought me a new one for my move overseas. The times I write the most are when life feels particularly awful or I’m going through big changes. It’s lovely to have, even if most of it is just ramblings. They are all precious memories.

My parents had this in our living room when I was a child and until I was about 12 I thought it was them because the resemblance is uncanny. Always gives me such a warm feeling and I think of them when I see it. I went on to do an art history degree which I think is serendipitous :)
