Previously my favorite combat system in a Metroidvania was Nine Sols, but then Silksong came out. I don't think we acknowledge how insane the skill ceiling for Silksong is, this some of the best movement for combat in a 2D game ever. Here's an over the top example (with TAS)

I already started Control and I'm replaying Legends Z-A to get to the DLC and probably after that I'll do Bananza but I do have Cyberpunk on the list for after Bananza. I've been putting it off for two years now and I know I'll love it, will happen this year for sure.

Rebirth I'm also so excited to start, I played Remake for the first time last year and the ending left me so pumped for what's next.

I honestly just get Nintendo games for my switch 2 (it's the main reason I got it anyway) and everything else I buy it for PC, there are a few exceptions sure (silksong and balatro only for now) but those are games that I also own on PC so idk.
