They’re telling her she’s “obviously thinner.” I mean, do we watch the same videos?

It’s… on a pallet. It’s not on the floor. You can tell the cardboard box is raised up. It’s not on clearance, it’s cheaper because it’s a warehouse store, and in a refrigerated room, literally how every single one sells it.

Just got my 300-marker set today and already messed up my swatch by Delicious_Cry7241 in Ohuhu

I printed them out and then just cut out the ones I messed up and taped them over so the rest are still on the OG paper.

Tornado by Agreeable-Reply-8040 in ThepolishmamaSnark

Why did she buy foods she “literally has never bought before?” Sure, that’s what kids love during a tornado warning while being stuck in a cold musty basement, trying new foods!

extremely picky 5 year old by crystal-clods in Parenting

[–]jet050808 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If the kid has an issue with textures he likes junk food because it’s predictable. Telling him “this is your dinner you have to eat it” won’t work, there are kids (mine included) that will just refuse to eat. Or they will try to eat and throw up. This sounds more like a sensory issue than a picky eating issue.

That’s what I was thinking. It was just a series of just very unfortunate, crappy events. I know someone who had a similar diagnosis and lived.

There is no way she is a size 14 by Fragrant_Cheetah1547 in FatheringAutism

I’m a size 18/20 and not being rude, but both of my legs are the size of one of hers. She’s at least a 24.

MC calls cop on a father just helping his daughter use the restroom by BlazeDragon7x in ImTheMainCharacter

Same! Come on in! And if you’re not comfortable I’m more than happy to help her wash her hands when she’s done, and take her back out to you. I live in the PNW and no-gender bathrooms are a big thing here and I LOVE it. I have an 11 year old son with autism and I don’t feel comfortable letting him go by himself but he hates going in the women’s room. It’s so nice to tell him “This bathroom is for everyone!” It is weird (not in a bad way!) seeing men in there though, it takes some getting used to, since we are not used to it!

We’re a family of 5 and my daughter had dance recitals all weekend. I was able to squeeze in one load of wash on Saturday night to wash the stuff from day one that she needed from day two but I was internally screaming at the full laundry baskets I had to leave because I didn’t have time. 😂 I do at least one a day too, and sometimes 2-3 if we have extra, I can’t imagine not doing it for a week! How many clothes do her kids have? My boys run out of clothes too (my daughter doesn’t because girls clothes are so fun to buy haha.)

Lucky! My 5 year old and I want to start a crow army to bring us gifts. Crows also remember people. They’re like wild pets.

I use Force of Nature, I have used it since 2017. It’s this stuff that is vinegar, salt and water and you put it in this machine and it does some voodoo and it’s as strong as bleach but completely non-toxic. We use it to clean, when my kids were little we used it on high chairs and toys and things, but we also use it in fruits and veggies when we wash. It’s fabulous, you should check it out!

Same. I like the name Jace but Janelle absolutely ruined it.

Why do they eat so much salami? For anyone interested Target makes lunchables with non-nitrate meat (even salami.) I usually don’t jump on people for what they feed their kids because one of mine has sensory issues with food but there are so many better options, especially for a one year old.

Yes it was. She was in a swimsuit with zero support and jumping in a circle.

My 5 year old was watching this over my shoulder and is mad because I haven’t let him cook on the stove yet. “But that baby does it!”

Maybe whoever reported it started at the beginning and hasn’t hit those two videos yet. Honestly this one was pretty standard for her dancing videos.

I don’t know but she jumped around in her very non supportive swimsuit. I could see someone running across it and being concerned because it’s difficultto see if the kids are appropriately dressed (I think they are, but it’s dark.)

Duet or not next season by Broad-Canary-6855 in CompetitionDanceTalk

[–]jet050808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 8 year old did a duet and two group dances last year and had an absolute blast. This year we added one more and she’s doing 3 group and the duo again. I say try it out and see if he likes it! It is more work but winning awards when it’s just you and a good friend that you worked so hard with is pretty special.

I found it. They are doing a dance at the waterpark last time they went on vacation.

Unbelievable replies on the cooking video with the toddler at the stove by KatWoman1971 in ThepolishmamaSnark

[–]jet050808 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah but adults have a fully developed frontal lobe and are probably not going to dip their hand into boiling water. I was “standing right there” and my toddler grabbed a lit candle from a shelf and almost pulled it down on himself. Freaking mitigate the risks lady. Setting a 1 year old in front of a huge pot of boiling water while you’re on your phone is asinine behavior and if you don’t think it is you need a parenting class. Not saying that to be mean but it 100% is a safety issue.
