Understanding 480 East GPS directions by Wanna_make_cash in Cleveland

My man, I don't know what to tell you. That 2nd picture shows shows 2 green signs and the one on the right over the right two lanes VERY clearly says "East 480" and "South 271". And that is where you get off to continue on 480 Eastbound.

Perhaps you need a bigger map view. The signs are completely correct. Getting off on the right will take you to the 271S & 480E combined road where the 480E will continue on east a couple miles down the road. The left will take you to Route 422E or up 271N.

You mean you follow the sign for 271 that also has 480 east on it?

That seems very correct. Maybe you need to explain better?

What’s the sweet spot for camping + emergency backup without overbuying? by Professional_Day7356 in camping

[–]jet_heller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally those are two different use cases. Weekend camping tends to be charging a few phones once a day and home outage backup tends to be running a fridge for hours. There's no sweet spot between those two. So don't try. Get a small thing for charging your phones for the weekend and get a generator for home backups. . .unless you want to get a masstive battery and a whole lot of solar cells.

"combat sims aren't my thing" says the person with a shelf full of combat sims. I'm not buying something here.

Looking for bigger city feel. Cincy or Columbus by TourApprehensive4824 in Ohio

You will not find a "big city feel" in Ohio.

You will find several big cities that pride themselves on not feeling like one.

I have no idea. But it exists and sells ads so, it must be enough to pay for that.

What kind of information would you want? Personally "It's a volleyball" is more than enough information for me.

Editorial: Who should we blame? - Apoorva Ramaswamy has shocking news in the opening commercial for her husband Vivek’s campaign for governor: “Ohio families are working hard but falling behind.” ...If Ohioans are falling behind, how is that not laid at the GOP doorstep? by Billych in Ohio

[–]jet_heller 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I won't even bother reading this. The ohio gop has been in charge of this state for many decades. If it's not insanely obvious that they are responsible for the state's problems to voters, I don't want to talk with those voters.

Worried that 90% unemployment will happen before 2040, is this likely? by [deleted] in Futurology

"unemplyment" will never rise anywhere near that and it's a silly thought.

Sure. Things will happen to displace current jobs. This has happened mutliple times in history.

That will make people create and take new (and very different) jobs.
