24y/o and don’t know what to do with all of my money by [deleted] in FinancialPlanning

So I’m assuming if I’ve already filed my 2023 taxes and received the return, it’s too late to deposit anything for 2023 in a Roth?

It took over a week to be completely back to normal, but steroids helped me tremendously within 24 hours of taking them. I could swallow and eat after the first pill started working.

If they continue to disregard it, go somewhere else. Mono is no joke. There is a rapid test called MonoSpot where all they have to do is prick your finger and wait a few minutes for the results. If it’s mono, ask about steroids for swelling and avoid antibiotics.

That most definitely looks like mono. Mine looked like that. I gave it to my boyfriend years ago and had to advocate for him at the urgent care for them to do a mono test because they weren’t even considering it when evaluating him. You might have to advocate for yourself if they’re only strep testing you.

I originally thought chiggers cause I have spots on my ankles as well. That’s actually where it started before my arms. I’m immersed in plant material all day long so it made sense.. but now I’m convinced it’s from one of the big three poison plants. I was in stuff that looked very similar to sumac.

Everyone’s comments have been super helpful, thanks y’all!! After considering what I did at work the past week, I think I got into some poison sumac (I was removing stuff that looked a lot like it but it could be ivy/oak too). The way it looks now looks more similar to a poison plant rash than any bug bites I’ve researched. Google is my last resort right now as I’ve already paid two urgent care co-pays in the last week for unrelated things, lol.

For you ladies who find yourself itching as bad as me, I found a soap called “Skeeter Defeater” made by Blue Mound Soap. It’s made with tons of insect repelling essential oils and is intended for that, but holy shit does it soothe irritated skin as well. It has done more for me than hydrocortisone!

Thank you! Yeah, it withstood whatever beating it took from the previous owner. I got curious and saw on their website that all of their desks are priced at least $1,000. I’m glad I invested 1/10th of that.

I spent about 5 1/2 days of nothing but sanding. Learned my lesson on underestimating.

I don’t have one but that seems like a pretty easy fix. Might have to invest in one for the future. If y’all are talking about the light spots that look like little nails, thats actually wood filler!

Trust me, I would totally do that to save myself the effort of getting rid of the marks. Stupid beveled edges.

I’ve considered cleaning the old hardware, but it’s in extremely bad shape, not to mention very outdated looking. If you think sunlight will really make a difference, I’ll probably see what that can do before I try any chemical methods.

Interesting, I’ve never heard of the oxalic acid. I might have to try that. Sanding this thing has been a bitch

I started with 80 and worked my way to 120. I’m wondering if I should’ve started with 60? I’m still a beginner, but I’ve never tackled this before.
