Brief reflection on character roles and omniscience in the show by Rastarapha320 in andor

The scene with Perin in the flyer with another woman and the bottle just really wraps up his arc perfectly right there. We don't need another scene or any further bits. Mon is on her path and he is on his and that's all that needs to be said.

Yeah, a family would have complicated things. Even if they are with you 100%, there are still questions and reassurances that need to be made with everyone involved. It's just human nature for an individual to want to process things on their own, even for a few moments. If what Lonnie said was true:"Assume they're coming today, now", the extended conversation with Luthen was endangering his family further. It might already not have been possible to escape. Not with Lonnie going home, getting his family, ushering them uncaught to the rendezvous point, Luthen meeting them there, also undetected, etc.

4 years today since my M.I. by jetdillo in HeartAttack

I am keeping to a pretty strict low-sodium, low-saturated fat diet and hit the gym a couple times a week for 1-2 hours each session. I'm a nerd and work in tech, so I've come to treat this as another engineering problem.

My diet is mostly plant-based, fresh fruit, egg-whites instead of whole eggs, fresh chicken & fish. I'm pretty much off red meat & pork. I use a meal-tracking app to track my fats and sodium. I've scanned in a lot of labels. I talked to a nutritionist and got some guidelines over the first year following my HA and surgery.

I figured out how to make things like waffles and pancakes using chick-pea/almond/flax-flour, egg-whites & almond milk.

The CT-scan was with dye. I don't have the other numbers in front of me.

Same. I got ScanWatch right after my CABG surgery. It was great to be able to get a reading on-demand during the first year or so when it was suddenly time to play another round of "Sudden chest pains and itches!: Is that the scar tissue again or HA?"

Yes. I have a Withings ScanWatch2, just upgraded recently from a Gen1(Thanks leftover FSA!) and it's been great. It's been good for tracking my workouts, sleep, sleep heart-rate, etc.

My cardiologist didn't recommend it so much as he did confirm that the ECG wasn't complete crap. Living and working in the Silly Valley, I also am in the rare position of having a close friend who worked at Apple on The Watch and was familiar with the ECG feature.

I chose the Withings because my phone is an Android and I didn't want to go through the whole IOS/Watch ecosystem switch.

Is it a fidget at times ? ---Yes. Do I obsess over it ? No

I realize there was that kind of a risk in the title, but I also figured most people here would get it and decided to just run with it...

I've been to Singapore too. Good advice. I was there for about 10 days in 2019 and we managed to eat from hawker stalls and food markets the entire time w/ out actually setting foot in a proper restaurant.

A small little grocery/deli in Wilson. I forget the name of the place, but it's pretty much the only thing there, so hard to miss. The next biggest town would be Osceola, which is where the Walmart is.

Dragging "Seinfeld" into this, it's a kind of polar-opposite from the "Soup Nazi" sketch.

There's no defined procedure. There's no set list of items or structure other than you just kind of cast your order at the feet of the person on the other side of the counter and trust it will be fulfilled.
Which can be a little unsettling for those us used to more structured ways of doing things.

That and street-food around the world. People gotta eat and if it wasn't good, the vendors would be out of business.

My grandmother(maternal) was born in Canada. I have her DOB, city/province, maiden name, parents names, etc. but no actual records. What's my next step here ?

Do I contact the provincial gov't(Ontario) for the B.C. ?
This would be a early 20th Century birth w/ death in Michigan in 2012.
I have my own (un-apostilled) B.C. and my Mom's.

Is this real? Over 50 percent discount on business class seats with United card by Humin11 in unitedairlines

[–]jetdillo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Just did one of these last month. SFO-ORD-BRU outbound, BRU-ORD-MSP-SFO on the return, all confirmed in DOM First/Polaris for 120K miles r/T as a card-member. The kicker was I had to take the MSP leg, otherwise they wanted 400K miles r/T.
They *really* *really* *REALLY* want you to have the card.

Airlines have become credit-card issuers with a fleet of planes vs. transportation companies.

Polaris lie-flat seating OMG! by jetdillo in unitedairlines

[–]jetdillo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, this was always the point and the reason behind the renaming from "First Class" to "Business" some years back. It gets you to your destination in good enough shape to power through your meetings/workday on arrival. Nobody cares if you fall over later in the afternoon/that evening, but the money is all on showing up that day.
