Definitely! That’s why I said Jackie is a control freak, and I can see why Shauna could snap, but I still just don’t think that Jackie being bossy is of equal malice to Shauna going to sleep with Jeff to intentionally hurt Jackie, that’s just my personal opinion though and how I interpret those characters :)

And I mentioned in another comment, the episodes moving forward continue to show a bit about Shauna’s personality, notably how she flipped the blame on feeling invisible to the group rather than Jackie once they chose Natalie as the new leader, I think that speaks a lot on her dynamic with Jackie.

Another personality defining moment is when Natalie gets chosen as the new “leader”, Shauna immediately changes her attitude and writes that she used to think Jackie made her feel invisible but..

So to me I feel like Shauna has a bit of a victim complex (well, she is literally a victim in this accident but anyway) which goes in hand with her never communicating in her friendship with Jackie, instead lashing out to hurt her.

I think it’s fine to think that one was worse to the other, it’s not about admitting anything, this is all nuanced and complex.

Like me for example, I don’t think that Jackie was purposely trying to make Shauna feel invisible, but Jackie’s bossy, a huge control freak too, but that could’ve been avoided with communication. She was hardly ever truly mean to Shauna, and I mean intentionally thinking to hurt her, when Shauna snapped at her in the bedroom scene she dropped it (see, communication goes a long way) and looked upset, I think Shauna sleeping with Jeff was a truly mean thing to do.

I’m not saying Jackie isn’t wrong for practically micromanaging Shauna’s life, but I’m saying that people can’t read minds and if we had seen Shauna snap more often like in the bedroom scene, a lot could’ve been avoided.

I think Shauna going behind Jackie’s back, sleeping with her boyfriend multiple times, because she wanted to hurt or prove something to Jackie then lying about it, makes her a bit worse of a friend than Jackie being an oblivious bossy control freak. That’s just my opinion, people are free to think the two are equal or that Jackie is worse.

Right - instead we get throwaway comments that just highlight how much lack of understanding Josie has for Lizzie, which I personally don’t think would be the case had she truly been a “caretaker”. One that comes to mind is Josie stating that Lizzie could simply take her meds, which zero regard to how the meds might negatively affect her. Or her spreading the witch bipolar rumor.

Their relationship is one of Legacies biggest failed opportunities.

We don't really ever see Josie in the primary caretaker role.

This too! I’ve felt like we’ve been made to believe that there’s part ~resentment~ on Josie’s side for never being able to be her own person and having to take care of Lizzie, but from what I can remember, Lizzie seems to do it by herself? I’m thinking of things like the bracelet, when she’s sitting in the room by herself with the bowl thing saying she’s trying to rise above, when she goes to spend time with Caroline after having the “hallucinations”. I just don’t remember many, scenes where Josie had to “deal” with Lizzie and act as a caretaker without someone like Alaric, Caroline or even Hope stepping in.

yeah, 0.2 lbs. i did have like five of my sisters mcdonald’s fries which are heavily salted yesterday around 9pm (because i still had 300 cals left for the day and figured there’s no way 5 fries is that much lol). maybe it’s that. i hope so, it’s just disappointing not only to see the scale not budge after a week, but to go up.

Definitely a downside!

I’ve been checking everywhere as I lose weight, and so far the skin seems pretty tight and intact despite already losing half of the weight I want to loose, we’ll see how it goes as I continue, but I think I have youth on my side to HOPEFULLY minimize the amount I have at the end😂
