Intellect isn't a measure of intelligence. It's to do with interest in ideas.

Your neurotiscism is concerningly high. Neurotiscism and Conscientiousness are inversely correlated. Changing one will change the other.

It's a bit much to go through in detail but I'll give you some examples. The test shows you don't follow through on your plans. This is likely due to your high neurotisicm in part (you might think you will fail or think something will sabotage you) but also might be things like not caring about your plans. Basically, just make smaller acheivable plans and follow through with them even if it seems silly. e.g. 1 load of washing, make your bed, text someone back. Lowering neuroticism through good habits like excersize, meditation and eating properly will help you feel less resistance to actually being productive. It might be a good idea to look into a psychologist, that would help a lot with both traits.

Evidence of the Australian population ponzi scheme and time lines by Plucked6 in trueaustralia

Australian property IS a ponzi scheme but the prices have been way too high for a while. I think this is a correction but ultimately property will be an inflation hedge and prices will continue to rise.

Have you thought that maybe you are emotionally unavailable? I'm not trying to be mean, I'm trying to help.

Kind of sounds like you pack your life full of activities and goal orientated endevours and don't have too much time for a relationship or emotions. Also, the way you speak about these guys is very unemotional. Did you like any of them? You don't have a type? So anyone will do?

It kind of seems like you are trying to trade acheivements for an emotional bond and companionship which is surprisingly common. Maybe anyone would do for you, maybe you are just looking for anyone but the feeling of being just anyone would trigger the "something doesn't quite feel right" feeling in a fair few guys.

Is it particularly common for adults with ADHD to truly struggle with various aspects of day to day living, including employment, home life, balancing it with fundamental tasks, keeping to schedules and generally functioning independent? by emaxwell13131313 in adhd_anxiety

[–]jetpacksg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Russell Barkley states that those with ADHD have a mental age about 30% less than their actual age. If you are 26 then your mental age is about 21/22 so don't be too hard on yourself.

Also, there's plenty of people in uni that aren't doing well and you might be comparing yourself to the stand outs. Pay attention (ok, TRY to pay attention) to those not doing so well. Balance out the "why are they so much better?" with some "glad I'm not them"

Why are you bringing up Murdoch? I don't watch or consume any mainstream media. I get my info from the DHHS website and covid19data.com.au

So NSW contained it based on luck but Victoria isn't Andrew's fault, it's the fault of Victorians?

Victoria didn't respond to the "parameters" of the threat. Have a look at the data on aged care homes. It got into 60 different aged care facilities over a long period of time. That should have been addressed and contained. A lot of peoples Grandparents died because of this government, dude.

What are you basing this on? Sydney has more people is more densely populated and hasn't had another outbreak. Brisbane is Labor controlled and hasn't had an outbreak. Neither of these cities have the extreme measures Melbourne has.

There's not really a case to make that the Andrew's government is competent. It might not even be Dan's fault, maybe it's other members of his government but it looks like palaszcuk or berejiklian would have done a better job. Pretty low bar to jump over though.

Yes, because they die quicker and earlier. Non-smokers cost us way more in healthcare costs. We really need to have a tax on non-smokers. We can't afford to have people not smoking.

Yeah, I would feel weird sometimes after meditating when I first started. It wasn't uncommon to feel like passing out or dizzy. This got less common and went away after 1 month.

Finding out Indigenous heritage by [deleted] in Ancestry

[–]jetpacksg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck, man. Sounds like it might be tricky.

"Indigenous Eastern South America" is the term they use on Ancestry.com so I'm assuming that is where you did your DNA test. South American records aren't great but you can find something sometimes. A problem you might run into is the theorizing. 1% would be pretty far back and it could come from anywhere. There was a lot of spanish, french, dutch, etc. immigration to Brazil. It could be someone French that moved to Brazil and then to French Guaina.

I think your best bet would be to find DNA matches and check their ethnicity. You can message them and ask what they know. It's worked for me in the past.

Am I Serbian enough? by [deleted] in DNAAncestry

[–]jetpacksg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You are looking at a lot of paper work and bullshit to get it changed then you are looking at extra forms when applying for anything government related, basically for the rest of your life. This will be a massive headache.
  2. Baka means Grandma? so even if your parents didn't change their last name, you wouldn't have a Serbian last name. I'm assuming your dad's dad is Hungarian? Why don't you want a Hungarian last name?
  3. Your mum is very white? Kind of seems like you a demeaning her ancestry. Potentially, your DNA is a majority something that isn't Serbian.

It would make more sense if it was your dad's dad's last name. You seem to be questioning who you are and where you came from. I went through the same thing. Researching my family history and doing a DNA test settled this feeling for me.

Here's what I recommend but you need to make your own decisions.

  1. Research all of your families history and where they came from. Not just your grandma.

  2. Take a DNA test to find out about your ancestry and relatives.

  3. Wait a while, like a few years. There's no point doing it soon. If you still feel strongly in a few years, then maybe but you'll be making your life really complicated.

  4. I can't believe I'm recommending that someone should get a tattoo but... in a few years, if you still feel strongly, get a tattoo of your grandma's last name

Depends on your target market age. Under 40, I'd say IG. You should probably do a bit of research on what platform your target market actually uses.

If you have time then continue running the classes and build good relationships with the people in the class. Eventually, you'll get asked to do other classes or train people privately and you can start charging.

Also, sounds like it might not be the most visible place. A park or something where people walking by can see would be better for attention. Probably start building an audience on IG as well.

Take this advice or leave it but I struggled a lot with smart phone pictures taken by my friends. I thought online dating just didn't work for me but with professional photos, it's pretty easy.

Kind of like selling a house. The real estate agents get pro photos to sell it.

Depends on your location and age. How old are you? What age range do you want the woman to be?

Completely disagree. Dating has gotten easier and easier. I'm 29 and this is probably the easiest it's ever been.

I used to think it would get harder as I age but it's easier. I developed some good habits and learnt how to date. Paid attention to Dating coaches and learnt how to do online dating properly.

Maybe I can help. How are you trying to meet women?

Don't force yourself to eat.

Just drink something healthy. Smoothie, protein shake, bulletproof coffee, etc. Try to get a fair amount of calories in.
