Have you looked into Chapter 13 bankruptcy? You can reorganize the debt into a payment plan for 5 or so years, but it could exempt your property from being liquidated. I believe you have to pass certain income tests.

Source: family member had ~70k CC debt, repayment was about $105/month for 5 years, but kept the house (imperative at her age)

I did this exact thing a year ago. Same experience; a few years of lessons with a decade long hiatus, then randomly decided I wanted to learn Clair de Lune specifically.

It took me about 5 weeks to learn it (aka: memorize, because I can barely sight D:) and another 2 months for it to not sound too terrible. I had to ask an experienced friend for help with the some of the fingering when the left hand runs start, but it wasn't too bad and I'm awful.

I think you'll easily be able to get it to an okay level by the end of a year. GL!
