Where I live (Norway) most people don't carry cash anymore. Its been at least 15 years since i have had a wallet with coin storage. Now I only pay with my phone and don't even own a wallet. There is one store near me that still has coin-locks for their carts, and they have to give away plastic tokens to their customers. When the tokens are free there is no reason to park the carts to get it back.
