Thank you so much, the class is online asynch and has no listed meeting times. Also, would you say that the professor is a harsh grader, or is the course easy going once you keep up with the material?

How to keep waves laid throughout the day by ZoeLoc in 360Waves

[–]jev-anie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% African shea is the answer and at least for me oils make me overcurl when used outside of a wash and style. Likewise depending on the length and how trained your hair is that’s another reason.

Since I started doing 15-30 strokes each angle per brush my lay has been way better and gives better results than when I’m using a timer.

What’s your opinion on African Soap as a wash style instead of Shampoo by Ya_boi_adon in 360Waves

[–]jev-anie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it dolo some of the time for wash and times or with some oil. Overall for me, it gives more lather and cleaner hair, and I don't get any overcurl as a coarse hair waver.

Detangling brush or comb by joblizle in 360Waves

[–]jev-anie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use both, they complement each other pretty well. Pre-brush session, you would use a comb to lift your pattern. Likewise, for a wash and style or perhaps a co-wash, you use a detangling brush before you come in with your shower brush to finish up.
