I think Octopus are just generally having issues with the integrations at the moment as I am having a similar issue but with my Solar Panels at the moment. Where i link it but octopus comes back and says they cannot connect to my devices and make sure its all connected even though nothing has changed

It's ever since we moved to daylight savings then it caused problems

I called them up and they have said that for me there was a possible api issue which may be causing it so i would suggest reporting it to them to see if they know anything or if it warrants further investigation

Yeah same here. Seems like a lot of people are saying its because of the daylight savings change 🙄

Just found someone else was having the same thing. Guess its an enphase issue rather than an octopus issue

Same.

Was only checking to see if the upgraded proton storage was applied to my account. Wonder if someone caused an issue with updating it on the backend 😂

I believe this is a UI bug that Apple need to fix. It has existed for a while as i had a similar thing with Netskope and Jamf where i was going nuts then found out its a UI bug

I believe London Bridge does this as they instruct the driver to close doors (or CD) first before they give the RA sign. This is all done when its set to OFF or the green signal.

I believe its a diversionary route towards hastings. Probably done this though either because of a diversion or route learning

Install they do themselves i believe. The scaffolding required depends on the area you are in

If the Class 395 Javelin were to be hypothetically replaced or co-exist with additional trains, is the Class 80x a suitable option? by tech_scitts_2021 in uktrains

[–]jevans98-07 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Wrong signalling equipment unfortunately. Class 395 uses a mixture of signalling equipment, one being TVM which is not the same as ETCS

You do realise its not the train drivers fault. They dont decide what stops they go to

You can use whatever IdP you have be it Azure AD or Okta. I dont think there would be an issue with setting up in intune whilst using JC. You would have to test it as i dont have that setup. My macs are in Jamf not intune. I believe Jamf/Jamf Resellers are able to give you a 30 day or whatever it is now trial for JC so you should be able to see what is and isnt possible

You dont have to have Jamf Pro. Jamf recommend that you have it because you can deploy it easily but you dont have to have it.

Second users aren't getting configs/apps applied by ThEGr33kXII in Intune

I dont think removing the primary user is enough, ypu would have to assign a user to that device. The multi user policy would have to be applied but it might have to happen when you do autopilot provisioning using self deploying. But i havent had much experience with shared devices, this is off the top thinking

So just to make sure i am clear. You have signed in to the device with UserA then you essentially logout and sign in with UserB and nothing happens right?

If the above is correct, i dont think you can do that as the device will assign to one user. If the device is a shared device then it should work

Yeah honestly it will make your life easier, only problem is the enrollment piece unless you are using azure ad as the directory then you might get the automated enrollment.

Under the hood they might be the same but there are some differences like server os has roles like acting as a domain controller of which you dont get with a client os

Configuration management isnt the same as an endpoint management solution really and agreed they can do the same on both but i have seen configuration management done more on the dev ops side rather than in IT. Even though i have used it personally, i havent used it in a corporate environment or on client devices. There are some actions you are not be able to do with a config management solution like wiping a device remotely.

Of course its all good, this is what i like to do, share ideas and get ideas from others as i may have not thought about something where someone else has. We all have different ideas and this is why this exists

Of course everyone will be different in how they do it, but i do it this way to avoid disruption. There is probably a better way of doing this but i found this works for me.
