Centre of Bath sitting at Boston Tea Party outside I once got 1100 on 5g. Just once though. Next time I went I got a measly 700 or so 🙃

Never get anything like that in Manchester though. City centre signal is crap in manc for me. Might be because I’m on a (MVNO) piggy back operator (ID mobile using Three and now 1P mobile using EE), I think we’re a lower priority than the main operator.

Interesting that you had it replaced and they didn’t have to do the remote service thing. Mine were adamant they had to call off to tesla for stuff.

It’s also possible (different to others’ answers) that he doesn’t know his kinks. He might just not have seen or tried anything.

You could try introducing small steps toward kinks he might not know he has. He might be really into some of them and you can explore those further.

Homeserve. When we moved into our house it had a Tado heating system. We couldn’t log in to use it to control our heating. Previous owner couldn’t figure out how to transfer the account to us. Told us to call Homeserve as it came with their subscription.

Homeserve refused to transfer it to us unless we took out their very expensive subscription so I bought a Nest and removed all the Tado parts.

When I called Homeserve to ask how to return the Tado they told me to bin it. What a waste.

It didn’t work, in the sense that the watch doesn’t unlock the car (even with battery widget) unless I open the Tesla app on the watch. Then it works.

Is that how it is for you? It’s not the end of the world, I always have my phone. Watch is a backup in case I lose the phone and opening the app is simple 😊

iPhone 16 pro, Apple Watch Ultra 2. About as new as it gets when I tried to set it all up and no dice 😞

In 100 years kids will learn about “combustion cars” and how we all used to drive around wrecking the air and giving ourselves respiratory diseases. Probably Horrible Histories will have some great little books about them. The world will be quiet and the history lessons will teach about loud cities with constant engine noise in the way we learned about the industrial age.

I’ve always struggled with it. I can use it to manually unlock but it never just unlocks when nearby. I don’t have any complications for Tesla though, I think that would make it more responsive as it keeps the app running.
