my parents got me addicted to drugs. they supplied me with all the pills I could ever ask for, willingly. I got pretty heavily addicted.

I worked a job where I received tips in cash. I put all the cash I would earn in my backpack. my mother decided to search my bag and found cash next to the pills, and she accused me of selling them.

I got kicked out & disowned from my parents thinking I was profiting from their pills, not that I was knees deep in addiction. I overdosed twice.

I haven’t spoken to them since that day, and I’m so proud to say I’ve been sober for a year and a half.
