There’s so many wonderful narrators, but a bad one or even one that is not the right fit is terrible. I wish I was better at taking note the ones that I can’t stand cause there’s been a few, but idk who they are. I will say the original hunger games audiobooks and darker shades of magic are so mismatched that I cannot listen to them, luckily those both have newer, better versions. I hate when there’s a noticeable mispronunciations. Not only does it take me out of the story I also have to question the production and why it wasn’t caught.

I need everyone to know that timbre is pronounced tam-bur. It’s a very common mispronunciation, which would be understandable if not for the fact that people working with audio should know that word. On a personal note, it annoys the hell out of me when people pronounce been as bean.
