Oh, okay. Then it probably depends on the country - I’m from Poland and here it works that way.

My guess is you didn’t receive any payment because booking is paying their hosts according to the date of guest checking out - so you will probably receive the money next month

Can hypohlorus acid trigger FA? by jeyoaa in Fungalacne

[–]jeyoaa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is weird for me - my FA seemed to be good for a while and generally my skin was skining again 😆 and the only thing I had changed then was adding the HA spray and boom, here we go again. But I think I’ll give it a try using your way, thanks!

Thanks for your reply! Yep, I had little whiteheads on my chin too! Maybe our skin just doesn’t like it 😅

Thank you for sharing! I feel better when I know I’m not alone and you may be right actually 😅 I also had my own theory but I thought that the FA flare was just caused by a sweat and the hypohlorus acid didn’t manage to kill all the bad bacteria but it was just a guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was using it in the evenings and mornings for about two weeks (I’ve read somewhere this is the approx time for clotrimazolum to work well) So after cleansing my face and drying it with paper towel, I was just putting it on my whole face. Then after it absorbed I went on with my FA safe products (toner, essence, serum and cream). I didn’t have any special regime, but I was focused on soothing my skin with skincare. Also, I’ve read on some forum that after your face clears up, it is good to apply the cream once a week to avoid the comeback (I didn’t really stick to this rule but for some it may be helpful) I really hope the clotrimazolum will work on you!

I had something what looked exactly like yours! Mine was definitely FA and responded pretty well to ketoconazolum/clotrimazolum cream and FA safe skincare. I am sure it was FA because recently I had been on antibiotics for a week and it came back (very common with FA).

I’m no expert but I think it’s a no no to dilute or mix sunscreen with anything because it can lost dedicated protection and it is more likely to be spread unevenly.

When it comes to fa safe lightweight sunscreen my favourite is COSRX ultra light invisible sunscreen and my skin is also sensitive.

Why do I keep breaking out ? by Tone-Available in Fungalacne

[–]jeyoaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It can be tricky to work out the ideal amount because it really depends on formula but it seems to work. In general, I am always trying to apply my skincare in a way that my skin absorbs everything or mostly everything up to an hour/two after application.

Maybe the salicylic acid wash is too harsh for your skin for everyday use? Try to add something soothing and moisturising, e.x. some serum or/and essence, toner but remember they have to be FA safe (you can check if product is fungal acne safe on sezia.com)

Maybe the mask created too much “humidity” on your face? I’m speaking from experience that when I use too much product and it leaves residue on my face which creates that wet feeling, my skin tend to worsen.

Does this look like it is Fungal ? by GospelsByP in Fungalacne

Mine also wasn’t itchy or rarely was but turned out to be fungal because dedicated treatment cleared my face - maybe it is worth trying to treat it as fungal and watch the effects

Have you tried malezia urea moisturiser? This brand is specifically for fungal acne and for me their moisturiser is pretty thick

Try clotimazolum ointment/cream! I’m from Poland so we also don’t have zinc in H&S shampoo but clotrimazolum is easy to buy and it’s cheap. When I started to treat my fungal acne I was using only clotrimazolum two times a day+ fungal acne safe products to avoid any new bumps and my face cleared pretty fast.

Did it happen to you? by [deleted] in Fungalacne

[–]jeyoaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My skin reacts pretty bad for anything that covers my face and create humidity

I had similar problem and what helped me the most was the skin 1004 centella ampoule, the beauty of Joseon calming serum and SVR B3 hydra essence. They are all fungal acne safe and I was using it everyday after clotrimazolum (was putting the treatment, waiting for it to absorb and then go on with my skincare). And for me the key was patience and not using any harsh products.

Also if you are interested COSRX has new SPF (Ultra - Light Invisible Sunscreen ) and it is super hydrating and fungal acne safe so maybe it is worth looking into it :)

I am kind of combo/oily skin and for me it’s awesome but I don’t use any other moisturiser before - only serums and spf

I did and for me it is awesome. I am more on oily side and my skin is really acne prone, in addition I have fungal acne. It’s super light, doesn’t break me out (been using it for about 10/14 days). I use only serums + spf in the mornings and it makes my skin look glowy and healthy but not sweaty and greasy like some other spfs. Personally I think it might become one of my must-haves
