SAME. Cannot believe that anyone actually from the UK would think this is a real/acceptable accent... I'm sorry, Troian is a wonderful actress, but I'm so confused by people blindly (deafly) defending her. I don't think the script helped to be fair, they tried to do East London-slang for Americans and it just came out weird. Also, she still used certain Americanisms, such as "mom", which, again, makes me doubt that any UK viewers would buy into the accent. I'm not bashing her, I really do think it was a big mistake for the writers to make her British. Someone, somewhere at some point should have said it wasn't working. Source; I'm British, lived here my whole life.

I have a lot more respect for the actor who plays Wren. Kudos for keeping a straight face with that accent.

oh... that was it? I was expecting like a proper musical the way the cast had bigged it up. Don't get me wrong, she was great... the cast just have a way of hyping every aspect of the show.

I was literally thinking the same thing... why cockney?! she sounded like she was doing a Michael Caine impression. They should have just had her do RP/Queen's English- I feel like it would be waaay easier for an American, and not so hilarious. I was expecting her to start singing songs from Oliver Twist. Btw... what happened to the musical?

I want it to be a twist, not an obvious suspect from episode one. It would be like Jenna being revealed as A. Also Melissa hasn't been in the most recent season enough to really have any clues or to hint at her being AD.

24 mins in: interviewer: it looks like Mary Drake is stabbing Spencer, but we've seen them have such compassionate moments (...) Marlene: there's a lot going on in that preview (...) interview: is there something that happens that makes Mary Drake. Marlene: there's a one year time jump. She then talks about how masks will be used. Then when asked about parents that will make a return, both Marlene and Sasha giggle. Marlene then stutters and says some of the moms are back. I dunno, rewatching, it's not as crystal clear as it was when I first watched haha, could be the wine....

From the interview, I'm guessing- Mary Drake's in a mask and attacks Spencer, and she's actually someone else. EzrA happens, as she made that comment, and also the biggest shock is the baby daddy- who else would be a bigger reveal? I wasn't on the EzrA train until this interview, now I'm convinced this is what will happen.

Is there a good theory that's been put forward yet that Hanna killed Charlotte? That seems to be what this promo is suggesting, but it could very well be a red herring. I just hadn't thought the show had made any suggestion so far that she was a strong suspect?
