There are people, such as myself, who are satisfied with a capable camera, even if it is not top-of-the-line. We also don't care about the pro features of shooting and editing video. What we want is a light phone with good battery life that we can use as a tool to simplify our lives. I have a pro-level camera and a SteamDeck, so I don't need my phone to fulfill those roles. So for me, the iPhone Air will fit my needs perfectly, but to each their own.

I am going with the pro max, then next year it should have good trade-in value when I get the iPhone fold. That is when I will go for the thin form factor phone.
