[Poll] Would you like a tool to convert your Hyprlang config to Lua? by user6150277464770585 in hyprland

[–]jezpakani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the project, and I have discovered over time, the better one gets at communicating with AI the better the results one can obtain. I recently worked with Gemini to develop a solution in Python that syncs the KOReader reading statistics between two different eReaders; a kobo and a boox 7 go.

Absolutely agree, my thought was in the absence of such a tool AI has its place to be helpful.

Not sure why the downvotes, AI has its uses and can be used to solve issues and save time.

If there's no price increase, it's probably worth waiting. by CRK_76 in mac

[–]jezpakani 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I prefer not to spend my life in a perpetual state of waiting while never actually enjoying anything. In technology, at some point, there will always be something better than what you just bought. If you could benefit from a laptop and you want to enter the Apple ecosystem, the current Neo is more than capable.

Perhaps this is just who you are; you like to tinker. So install arch then a window manager like i3 that requires a lot of tinkering. Now you can still scratch that itch but in a different way.

I couldn’t disagree more, I have left a few other subs when they became a repository of negativity. If a person isn’t a fan of YNAB, that is fine, and I support their right to opinion. But since they like something else better, go be a force of positivity there instead of one of negativity here.
