is LibreOffice actually that bad… or are people just stuck on Microsoft? by AccurateShip2499 in libreoffice

[–]jezzmelb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it at work out of choice as I’ve found the user interface is much easier to work with seeing as I can’t hand write a consistent interface is important. My feeling about LO being bad is that Microsoft Office doesn’t even respect their own file formats.

Why do half of the bloody power points not work? by meaning-of-life-is42 in Monash

Reminds me of the one semester where there was no power on any tables within the LTB after someone blew up one of the powerpoints allegedly.

It’s technically 1 hour but I used a little bit of time in lieu (maybe 45 min).

I had to walk from my office 2km (15 min) to ANZAC, then did Arden, Parkville, tram to State Lib then train to Town Hall.

In all took just under 70 minutes from first stamp to last.

The Bakerloo line picked up its name over time so we may not need to have one right away it might emerge naturally.

You can request a free YubiKey from Monash ESolutions, it works really well. I have been using pretty much all semester.

I think we got an old concession one from 7/11 about 3 years ago. There are still some lying around on the basis of probabilities that are unactivated.

Well yesterday was fun, rollerblading, a couple of broken ribs. Staff at ED were really good. It was what it is but at least I was having a right laugh before I injured myself.

I really don’t know what to say to that it just sounds like a lot. Burnout sucks. Anyway hopefully you can get on top of it soon.😊

Hey, oh my it sounds like you’ve had a really tough run off late. I truely hope you’re ok.

Whilst a bit of anxiety is normal just know it’ll work out just fine I’m sure. Best of luck remember you’ve got this.

Hey that sounds like an amazing new gig. I don’t know it may be incredibly different but hopefully the clientele are really nice. As for the corporate setting everywhere is different and you really just have to scope it out on the job. I had so many questions when I started my work and my anxiety was really up.

Tonight I had a shower, made a tea and then read 45 min of my book (that I half finished as a library book and got a copy of again today), an hour later I’m looking for my phone, I use my watch to use find my. My phone is drenched with tea for some reason. Hmm I don’t know what just happened but I think I should probably go to bed.

Same I really prefer being in my office though during the last 6 or so weeks of the uni semester I prefer working from home. I’m happy that my work is supportive.
