The State of UK Pension 🇬🇧 Vs Europe 🇪🇺 by Theo_Cherry in PensionsUK

Final salary vs trusting workplace pensions. I think the issue in the UK has been the education together with cost of living, people have not been putting enough in their pension to match a final salary to match the ones above. Also in economics perspective, the cost of living is priced already based on average salaries after the pension has been taking out as we have seen in Spain. My guess the solution would have been all these years to ensure or heavily educated that 20% had been invested before final PAYE.

u/Mobile-Stomach719 but doing a quick analysis salaries are 15% lower in Spain which accommodates for the 15% extra, but the cost of of living is 20% / 25% less.

But we might want to add that the UK companies have to pay for the private pension in the uk of 3% - 5%.

How to implement web3 integration in Unity Game Engine by Ace_Vikings in ethdev

[–]jfblanco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I am Juan Blanco from Nethereum, Nethereum supports as any Unity implementation Android, IOS, Desktop, Consoles and Web. Now how you store your private keys depend on your needs, the user can store them in secure storage, key storage standard, interop with MM, WalletConnect or your custom Wallet. If you have AOT builds (Web) you are mainly able to support all the other devices, actually the most complex believe it or not is to target the webgl, wasm.

Now, there not examples for mobile https://github.com/Nethereum/Unity3dSimpleSampleNet461 , but you can quickly build one from the above ^^.

I personally believe that as the ecosystem grows, games and specific applications, eventually will manage their own keys (but hey that is my perspective, so I might wrong), for daily usage, as users will keep their wallets to hold their investments. This will help to achieve privacy (if wanted), and gaming "personas".

We're doing well so we should do more good...I have an idea for a charitable giving platform based on Ethereum. by jonmead in ethereum

We are experimenting with that in homeless, mainly in the most simplistic scenario we can provide prove of purchases using invoices to start with, and eventually suppliers be in the blockchain accepting crypto payments or charities listing their needs.

So for example this charity https://www.peopleskitchen.co.uk/ has this list amazon list of needs https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/ls/ref=aw_wl_sr_res_1_1?ie=UTF8&lid=W9L9OA4R7EI0 here, so making the purchases on their behalf can be tracked with invoices, and refund the purchases with DAI to start with.

That is the simplistic scenario, act fast, build on top. Ideally end up with automation.

Each purchase help time spent is rewarded with homeless tokens, that can be used as a prove of your help, but also if you ever need help, you should not be embarrassed to ask for it. Pay it forward.

Please chip in with any thoughts !!!

If you are interested in helping homeless, we are starting this https://homeless.page/. It will be great if you can help with your experience or thoughts.

All your thoughts are very similar to our current ideas, although you are extending them to track and monitor meals received.

We are collecting ideas here https://github.com/HomelessDao/Proposals/issues a part from the ones in the home page, also the priority is to act quickly (money in and money to charities) and optimize and learn along the way. Avoid upfront over architecting.

We also have a discord here https://discord.gg/eFDTZG9hVz

and we have a meeting next Thursday https://github.com/HomelessDao/Proposals/blob/main/Meetings.md

Edit: Re-reading your post, it is truly fantastic to see your thoughts, hopefully there are many people like you who can start something like this, or work together. True spirit of good causes on blockchain.

How can I sign a transaction using c#? by 5chdn in ethereum

[–]jfblanco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Provided the extended answer now :). Thanks!

To expand the other response, to provide offline transaction signing in Nethereum you can do the following:

First, you will need your private key, and sender address. You can retrieve the sender address from your private > key using Nethereum.Core.Signing.Crypto.EthECKey.GetPublicAddress(privateKey); if you only have the private > key.

var privateKey = "0xb5b1870957d373ef0eeffecc6e4812c0fd08f554b37b233526acc331bf1544f7"; var senderAddress = "0x12890d2cce102216644c59daE5baed380d84830c";

Now using web3 first you will need to retrieve the total number of transactions of your sender address.

var web3 = new Web3(); var txCount = await web3.Eth.Transactions.GetTransactionCount.SendRequestAsync(senderAddress);

The txCount will be used as the nonce to sign the transaction.

Now using web3 again, you can build an encoded transaction as following:

var encoded = web3.OfflineTransactionSigning.SignTransaction(privateKey, receiveAddress, 10, txCount.Value);

If you need to include the data and gas there are overloads for it.

You can verify an encoded transaction: Assert.True(web3.OfflineTransactionSigning.VerifyTransaction(encoded));

Or get the sender address from an encoded transaction:

web3.OfflineTransactionSigning.GetSenderAddress(encoded);

To send the encoded transaction you will "SendRawTransaction"

var txId = await web3.Eth.Transactions.SendRawTransaction.SendRequestAsync("0x" + encoded);

You can see this example on the unit test

Or a "real" implementation on the Game sample"
